I own multiple consoles, many of which are very old

The Dreamcast was the last concole made by SEGA, selling only 7 million units in total as its internet capibilities were undercut by the announced PS2's DVD playback capibilities, making it the logical and better choice for parents who want a console for the children, and a DVD player.

Playstation 1 was the console made in pure retribution to Nintendo after they cheated with Sony for Philips. One of the first mass-market game consoles with built in CD-drives, they had a much higher storage capasity than the flash-memory of cartridges, compare 700 MBs to 15-20MB.
