Banjo
In 2024, I got a banjo for christmas, and it was the coolest thng that i'd ever got. I sprung to it like a fox would to a rabbit.
Afterwards, I started learning single-string pieces over the newxt few days unil around Jaunuary 15th 2025 where I tried to play clawhammer for the first time. It went badly. very badly
After a few months of playing, I was first introduced to my mentor in playing banjo. Her name I dont exactly remember, but it was the Music and Arts near Ardmore.
She was the one who first taught me how to play clawhammer effectively, The first thing I played was a versiom of "This Land is Your Land", going... very... slow... at... firrrsssttttttttt.
